From Interstate 95 North or South take exit 2A (in Massachusetts), Route 1A South Newport Avenue. As you exit the interstate, you will see a large shopping complex on the left side (Home Depot, Olive Garden, K-Mart, etc). Proceed South on 1A (Newport Ave) over a railroad track bridge immediately after exiting the interstate. At the bottom of the bridge you will cross from MA into Pawtucket, RI. Proceed South on Newport Ave (Route 1A) for 3.8 miles. Take a left onto Ferris Ave from Newport Ave. The entrance to the Kimberly Rock complex will be located about ½ mile down the road on Ferris Ave, entrance is on the left. |

From Newport Ave, continue into East Providence and onto Pawtucket Ave. Drive .3 miles and take right onto Newman Ave/Route 152 heading towards East Providence. Drive 2.1 miles (Newman will become N Broadway) and take right onto Warren Ave. Drive 1/2 mile on Warren Ave and take left onto 7th street. Road will terminate at entrance to Pierce Field.
The softball field is along Lyon Ave in back of the main field. It is NOT the field on the corner or Lyon and Mercer, it is behind that field. |

Proceed South on Newport Ave (Route 1A) for about 2 miles. The entrance to Slater Park will be located on the left side of Newport Avenue. If you are using a map system, the nearest landmark is 358 Newport Ave, Pawtucket RI 02861, which is St. Teresa's School (across the street from the Park).
As you pull into the park you will see baseball fields located on the right. The softball fields are behind the baseball fields. There is plenty of parking along the street and inside the parking lot. |
